What if just for a moment, we walked out from behind our point of view and with an open mind tried to hear, and understand another perspective? We don’t have to agree with it. But trying to see all sides can open our eyes to see from a perspective above all sides and get at the real underlying issue. The root cause. We may not even know what it is from our own POV. From there we can find mutual solutions. But it’s hard. Taking sides seems easy and effortless. It takes guts to step outside and find what we have in common, and see the real issues we are trying to solve.
The Real Safari
A safari in Kenya and a trek to see Gorillas in Rwanda were eye-opening. But everywhere I travel, it’s people seemingly different, but so much the same that has the potential to open eyes. Join me on a life safari.
